The last nail in the coffin of individual liberty in New Zealand may well turn out to be the forthcoming constitutional "hui," as Rodney Hide has described it. The list of invitees reads like a Who's Who of Political Correctness. Every mangy crook on every kind of gravy-train, every low-life politician who got the gravy-trains fired up in the first place, every sleazy, state tit-sucking academic who rejoices in the gravy-train's railroading of freedom, every quisling journalist & every trendy pseudo-artistic poseur from the pits of post-modernism will be there. These creatures are not just muddle-heads whose heart is in the right place. They are evil through & through - and so is their agenda: the destruction of individualism, free enterprise & personal liberty. What they are relying upon is that you, dear listeners, are asleep, like the docile sheeple you can usually be counted on to be.

Not all of you. Some of you are still displaying vigilance, an eternity of which is liberty's price. Here's an e-mail I received yesterday:

"If the instigators of this hui/conference have their way, (and the list of those invited ensures that they will), then without a shadow of doubt this will be the most significant and far-reaching socio/ political turning point in New Zealand's modern history. And yet hardly anyone outside of the social engineers (who have been working towards this for years), have any real knowledge of it ... Central to "our" proposed constitution is to be a wilfully misinterpreted, politically correct version of the Treaty of Waitangi.

"In fact, this conference shows all the signs of being the culminating accomplishment of at least four decades of extreme left-wing social engineering in New Zealand. An entire generation have grown up in his country who have been subjected to a saturation propaganda/indoctrination campaign which has very effectively denigrated western culture, civilisation and values, and sanitised and lionised Maori culture.

"The stage is now set for the fully conscious implementation of an apartheid system with the inevitably disastrous social consequences - and completely without the sanction of the New Zealand public."

Spot on in most respects, but wrong in one. Whatever evil arises out of this orgy of freedom-hating WILL have the sanction of the New Zealand public. Silence is sanction, & the public will be silent. Wake up, you stupid fools! A constitution for this country has already been written. It's the only one that has been, & you may be sure it's the only one that will eschew Political Correctness & ensure the protection of the individual rights of every citizen regardless of colour or creed or gender or sexual orientation. That is exactly what this hui is designed to avoid: equality of all in freedom under law. It has been set up to ensure a constitution that favours those of a particular colour (brown), creed (communism/fascism), gender (female) & sexual orientation (homo) & entrenches their supremacy for all time. Is that really what you want?
